Golf du Chateau

Attached to the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort hotel, the magnificent 18 hole “Golf du Château” golf course which covers 100 hectares, is the masterpiece of architect Peter Matkovitch, of Peter Matkovich and Hayes the world renowned South African architectural practice.

Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course (Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories.

Spa

The Seven Colours Spa with a floor area of 3,000m2 has 20 treatment rooms, 7 massage rooms of which 3 are double, and 2 massage kiosks on the beach, affusion showers, steam baths, a huge sauna with a cold water pool, a pool with eddying currents, divans in kiosks especially provided for relaxation, and one consulting room where tailor-made treatment programmes can be discussed.

The Valriche nature reserve

The Valriche nature reserve is one of the 3 elements that make up the Domaine de Bel Ombre, the other 2 elements being the Golf du Château and the Château de Bel Ombre. The estate has retained an exceptional and unspoiled environment which one can explore and in so doing go back to nature.

The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort located on the former land of the estate and affiliated to the Domaine de Bel Ombre offers its guests access to the Valriche nature reserve which, besides the exceptional beauty of its landscape, shelters unique and protected flora and fauna.

Timomo Kids Club

The ‘Timomo & Friends’ Kids club welcomes children aged between 4 and 12 years. Indoor and outdoor activities are organised daily under supervision and children’s menus are available upon request.

Teen-Activities for teenagers from 13 to 18 years.

Opening hours (Daily): 10:00 am – 11:00 pm

A baby-sitting service is available upon request at an extra cost.

 

Heritage Golf & Spa Resort - Dining & Restaurants

With its 4 restaurants, Heritage Golf & Spa Resort provides a real feast for the taste-buds. The Balafon – the main restaurant - is housed in three pavilions surrounded by mirror-ponds and has a warm and refined ambience.

The Chef treats one to a new discovery of taste sensations, introducing you to new delights by conjuring audaciously with the culinary traditions of the island of Mauritius and other cuisines of the world. His buffets for breakfast and dinner (as an alternative to the table d’hôtes menu) consist of wonderful miniature individual plates, allowing one to taste a full range of culinary pleasures.

Should you wish to dine with an endless view of the sea and your feet in the white sand, the Infinity Blue has a Mediterranean menu with fish and seafood specialities… one cannot resist succumbing to this osmosis with nature, before moving on to enjoy the rest of your evening in the jazzy ambiance of Lion’s Lounge…

Balafon

the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner (buffet and tables d’hôtes).

Infinity Blue

the restaurant on the beach which serves typical local cuisine at lunch time and seafood specialities in the evening – to guests with their toes in the sand.

Amafrooty

for a light meal of salads and sandwiches at lunch time at the swimming pool

La Compagnie des Comptoirs

the gourmet restaurant (under the supervision of Michelin star French Chefs Jacques and Laurent Pourcel). Dinner guests must be at least 13 years old.

Le Château de Bel Ombre

the former colonial mansion now converted into a restaurant just a stone’s throw from the hotel. Open for lunch and dinner.

Bars

Zenzibar, and its relaxing lounge – the main bar, (open from 10h00)

Lion’s Lounge,a jazzy ambiance at the end of the evening - the Cigar bar (open from 18h30, 3 times a week)

Blue Drift Bar, a convivial and relaxed atmosphere looking out over the lagoon on the edge of the beach (open from 10h00)

 

Heritage Golf & Spa Resort - Rooms

All the rooms open onto a terrace or balcony and have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a bathroom with separate bath and shower, a hair dryer, an electronic safe, a mini-bar, internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.

There is 24 hour room and laundry service.

All Inclusive includes:

• Breakfast at Balafon, the main restaurant
• Lunch at infinity Blue or Amafrooty Restaurants
• Dinner at Balafon or Infinity Blue Restaurants
• 1 lobster dinner at Balafon or Infinity Blue for minimum 7 nights stay
• 1 dinner at the Chateau de Bel Ombre Restaurant (set menu / excluding drinks) per stay
• 1 Seven Colours Menu at the fusion restaurant
• Afternoon tea from 16.00hrs to 17.00hrs and unlimited premium imported drinks (excluding 12 years spirits and above).
